Praktikum

Since 2005, the Praktikum has been part of ISD’s curriculum: Every September, for two weeks, the 10^th grade students have the chance to acquire some insight into the world of work, an important experience for adolescents in their search for professional and personal identities:

• It helps students with their orientation regarding their future career
• It teaches them the skills and social competence which are necessary in a professional environment
• It’s a good start into a professional life of networking and connecting with people

ISD has links to about 80 companies in Düsseldorf and its surroundings and, with their help, provides students with placements in German, English and Japanese.
